8. The secretary must send the documents referred to in section 5 to the committee formed by the board of directors under paragraph 2 of section 86.0.1 of the Professional Code (chapter C-26) to study diploma or training equivalence applications and make an appropriate recommendation.

For the purposes of the recommendation, the committee may require the applicant to successfully undergo an interview, pass an examination or do both.
